Welcome to your state-mandated CCW class. Completion of this online course and your live-fire qualification will enable you to complete your CCW application.

Every two years, a renewal course must be completed along with your live-fire qualification to renew your California CCW.

This course is broken up into multiple sections of instruction that you will be quizzed on at the end of each section. You must complete this course within the allowed time, or you will be locked out and be required to repay. You must complete the entire section before you will be able to complete each section’s quiz. The timer at the bottom of the screen must expire before you can advance to the next lesson. You may start and stop as much as you wish. To pick-up where you left off, simply use the RESUME COURSE button at the top of your screen upon returning to your course.

Once you have completed the course and final exam, you will receive a certificate of completion for the online course.  You can either print, or screenshot, your certificate of completion. After your course time limit expires, you will not be able to access your certificate, so please print or screenshot upon completion of this course.

You still need to complete your “live-fire” qualification to finish your CCW application process. After completion of this course, please follow the provided instructions to setup your time to qualify with your instructor. You will need to have a copy of your certificate of completion from this online course at the time of meeting your instructor to complete the live-fire.
