Welcome to your state-mandated 16-Hour Initial CCW class. Completion of this online course and your live-fire qualification will enable you to apply for your California CCW.

A renewal course must be completed every two years to renew your California CCW.

This course is broken up into 19 sections of instruction that you will be tested on at the end of each section. You must complete this course within the allotted time, or you will be locked out, lose your progress, and be required to repay and start over.

You must complete the entire section before you will be able to complete each section’s quiz. Please pay attention to the timer at the bottom of the screen, the timer must expire before you can advance to the next section.

You may start and stop as much as you wish, but you will not be able to move on to the next section until you have completed the previous section and passed the section test.

Once you have completed the course, you will be able to print a certificate of completion.  You can also screenshot your certificate with your smartphone. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PRINT A REPLACEMENT AFTER 30 DAYS HAS PASSED FROM THE TIME YOU BEGAN THE COURSE. You will still need to complete your “live-fire” qualification to finish your renewal process.
